So many women I speak to tell me they feel unmotivated and lazy
But quite often they’re wrong
They’re not unmotivated they just not clear
One of the biggest causes for a lack of motivation is just a lack of clarity
And in particular a lack of clarity on two key things
- What you want
- What needs to happen to get that
Here’s the thing
If you’re not clear on what you want or what needs to happen to get it then it’s very easy to feel unmotivated
Like how are you supposed to be motivated if you either don’t know what you really want or don’t know what you need to do to get it
So... if you’re struggling with feeling unmotivated lately...
Ask yourself
Am I really clear on what I want?
Do I know what I need to do to get it?
If the answer to either is no?
Then you’ll struggle to feel motivated
But here’s where it gets interesting
Often getting clear on what you want is easy enough
Where a lot of people struggle is with what they need to do to get it
You see, the brain is a funny little thing sometimes
Because what it tends to do is over think and over complicate things
So all that happens is you feel even more unmotivated
That ever happened to you?
My advice is this
Keep it really simple
And ask yourself this
What’s the easiest next action I could take to move me closer to what I want?
Then just do that
Don’t let the brain get you even more unmotivated by overthinking it or thinking to far ahead
Just get clear on what you want and what’s the next action you’re gonna take to get there
And just repeat
