So yea, it’s that time of the year again.
And everybody is on about new year, new me.
Some sincere in their efforts.
Some not.
Sometimes setting a goal is just about making us feel good.
The mere act of saying we’re gonna do something makes us feel better in the moment.
But I’m hoping you’re one of the sincere ones.
And I’m going to share a counterintuitive approach to goal setting.
That will dramatically improve your chances of succeeding.
And you can use it on habits you want to change too.
And this one simple question is a question I use all the time with my members to help them achieve their goals.

After you set your goal or decide what you want to do.
Ask this question:
"What’s the REAL challenge gonna be for you here?"
You see, normally when we set goals or decide to change habits we’re feeling somewhat motivated.
And we feel like we’re definitely gonna do it this time.
And because of that state.
We don’t look at where we usually go off track.
We don’t plan for our biggest obstacles.
And we don’t consider what usually holds us back.
Because of this.
It’s these very things that completely knock us off track.
And the reality is that it’s usually the same things too.
Think about how many times you’ve been guilty of just heading off to try and achieve a goal without even really thinking about the reasons it didn’t work last time.
I used to do it all the time too.
Until I learned this question.
That’s the power of this question.
It forces you to think about them at the perfect moment, which is right at the start.
So that you can prepare yourself for your biggest obstacles and challenges.
And put a plan in place to overcome the things that usually holds you back.
Plus because it’s you coming up with the answers and solutions, you’re much more likely to follow through.
Try it out.
