But stop and think.
Normally, don’t we always focus on fixing mistakes?
And improving ‘weaknesses’
Being self critical? Telling ourselves we should do better?
Now... tell me this...
How does that make you feel?
Good? Didn’t think so
More like terrible, a failure, not good enough, and basically strips away your confidence?
Here’s the thing...
Improving is the key to getting results but it is much easier to do when we’re building on our strengths rather than highlighting our weaknesses
When we build on strengths the ‘weaknesses’ and areas that need ‘work’ will naturally begin to improve as your confidence and self belief in yourself grow
And this can’t happen when you’re lacking in confidence and continually focus on your flaws, faults, and what you’re doing wrong.
The key to the kind of success you want and the kind of success I get in shape up is to focus on what’s going well, and do more of it, and build on it, let it have a ripple effect to other areas
When was the last time you noticed:
What is already working?
What your good habits are?
What’s not a fuckup?
What you’re doing well and what you’re good at?
Just imagine you changed focus and put your attention on those things...
Just think of the difference that could make to...
Your RESULTS
Your CONFIDENCE
Your SELF BELIEF
just think of how they could completely sky rocket
That’s not some Pollyanna bullshit
It’s works and it works like gangbusters
I see it working every single day of the week
